B&O 3XXX series all-steel caboose weighing 67,300 lbs. Built by International Car Corporation in 1966, it was one of 46 in the order that was the first bay-window cabooses to be purchased from a caboose builder. Until that time, all bay-window cabooses were built in the B&O shops.

From a Chessie/B&O site I found.

There is a lot of variation between orders of vans built by ICC. Every order was customized to the railroad's request, and you're unlikely to find an available model that _exactly_ matches your subject. You'll have to get whatever ICC prototype bay-window van that is available, and either make do or plug and cut new windows.

Jeff-although this is a model, is this what you're kinda looking for?

I've been searching this evening-no luck yet-you DO mean a Chessie paint scheme,
correct? (& not the original C&O scheme) because I found a # of those. I'll continue-
the SEARCH is ON!

If you're willing to spend big bucks ($144.00) and do it in N scale, N Scale Supply has a sale on Overland Models N versions of this exact caboose, OMI-1031 in B&O, OMI-1032 in C&O, and OMI-1033 in CSXT.  ;D ;D ;D

See www.nscalesupply.com for photos of models.

Jeff-Oops! That IS green, isn't it!  :-[
sorry-it looked blue to me on my monitor last nite. (I guess my lack of coffee at
the time was showing!)  :P

I kinda had an idea it wasn't a "safety" cab you were looking for-but wasn't sure-
thanks for clearing that up. (remember that little story I emailed u about? ha!)

I'll do some more "hunting" tomorrow-as for now I'm getting ready to go out
with my better half (& fellow MTW member!)  ;D

I hope this won't be as hard to find as HD's IC boxcar! (need to dig out more
of my old railfan mags!)

IAN!

If you mean the bay window caboose similar to the one up there except the Cat is on the
LEFT instead of the right...and the safety thing on the right...then I know Athearn RTR just
released that one in HO! That's good for me. Hehe.

That would be it!
