Extremely Intrusive Ad on TWR Tonight with iPhone

Tried to hop on TRW on my iPhone tonight but had an ad taking up 3/4 of the screen, covering the majority of the page and not allowing me to scroll to the top. There was no X or anything to close the ad either, rendering the forum basically useless.

Happened to me on Android too.  It was a pull down ad from the top of the page and there was a little icon to press to close it.  I agree, it was very annoying!

On my iPhone, the ad goes away if the phone is held horizontally.

This has happened before. I think Tom was able to do something about the drop downs.

Still a terrible problem for me. Site is almost completely unusable on my iPhone.

Not sure if this works on all iPhones but in Safari with the ad open go to the upper left option button and choose “hide distracting items” and click the ad and then “hide”.

Seems to be working even with a refresh.
