I was on my way into work this morning and I saw the eastbound Amtrack Cardinal. It had what appeared to be two different passenger cars on the head end, possibly some kind of private owner or heritage thing. The first car was all silver, corrugated sides, with a tapered end like I've seen on some streamlined observation car models. The second car had a lot of red, maybe a little blue. It was across the river, and I couldn't see the road names, nor get any photos. I thought it might be of interest to some folks here. Perhaps there is camera footage of the train along the route somewhere.
