Arcade & Attica #18 rides again!

Since the end of the 2017 season, Arcade & Attica's #18 - A 1920 vintage ALCo-Cooke 2.8-0 has been undergoing rebuilding to meet FRA specifications.  Last weekend they passed the live steam test and are busy preparing for the steamer's season debut on Saturday, August 24th.  On Facebook there have been a few videos posted so I thought I'd list them here.

Here is a test run.  Just the locomotive running between the ex-PRR  (now B&P) interchange and the A&A shops.

Here is another test pulling 4 of the former DL&W Boonton coaches:

A quick overview of the rebuilding efforts.

Nice to have the old gal back in her 104th year.  I think you should be able to click past the FB sign up and still watch.  My apologies if not.

Murphy paid a visit to Arcade yesterday and something happened or was discovered during this test run, Sat 17th to force the delay of the season debut.  Currently the issue hasn't been disclosed and the debut has been postponed with no anticipated target date.
