Scaletrains Sound C39-8's on Sale....a LOT!

I have absolutely no need for a C39-8 since it is way past my era, but I saw one at Trainfest a few years ago and was impressed with it.  I may pick up a CR or NS unit because the price for a DCC/sound loco is just too good to pass up.

Broke down and bought 1 each. CR and NS as a self Father's Day gift, since I never get any......

With only a little stretch on my IHB layout I figure they can run my transfers to IHB.

I received mine (NS) and, man, what a gem! Absolutely stunning in the looks department and it may be the best sounding N scale loco I've heard with factory sound. I usually end up reworking something in factory sound units to make them more robust and less tinny, but there's no need with this one.

I got mine last night and can vouch for the fast shipping.  Units look beautious and my only regret is that I wanted the NS with yellow snow plow but they were sold out of those.  I also like the NS ghost scheme that ran before getting the full paint job, but those were still full price.....These are far and away my best performers with sound.
