‘Oliver”
My first car was a 1970 Opel Kadett station wagon in that apple green color. They were advertised and sold by Buick dealers. It was promoted as the "Mini Brute" in an era of VW's, Chevy Vegas, Ford Mavericks. It had a lot of issues, but it got 30mpg during the oil embargo, and with studded snow tires and sandbags in the back, made a really good and usable winter car.But oh my, you couldn't keep the thing in alignment, it burned oil, the gas gauge quit, and I punctured the aluminum oil pan with road debris - TWICE. My wife always joked that 'you were the only date I ever had that carried a case of oil in the car and actually DID run out of gas'.My local Buick dealer finally told me, that 'you don't have keep coming back in here for service, you know... you could find somebody else'.....I made a nameplate for it on the passenger side dashboard "Welcome Aboard the Legroom Limited" as that's what it got christened! It got willingly traded at 40,000 miles and made the ultimate geek teenager vehicle. I'm still asked by my high school class 'what ever happened to that ugly opel station wagon you drove???'Boy, I wish you were making the wagon version of that. You got that ugly green color spot on.
