Tired of taking out the 35mm and getting post shot failed clarity cropped results , same with the cell . This looks like it's good for any angle . You see what you get on the computer . You can further adjust that on the computer . My want is to take shots of N scale locos and rolling stock vertically and otherwise . Looks like it can be set up on a coffee table near the computer . So for that usage , what do you think ? Sold on Amazon and other places for 99 bucks .

What are your issues with your cell phone?

My Pixel 8 Pro is simply amazing at model photography.

I find my Galaxy S23 great for quick grab shots, especially if you are eventually going to text/share/e-mail the picture(s) to someone.

DSLR is a pain even though you have much greater control.  Take the picture, upload to PC, e-mail, or e-mail to yourself so you can have it on your phone for texting, etc.

So did Google fix their software or do you use a 3rd party camera app? My Pixel 6 applies some ugly extra sharpening filter on every photo and there's no way to turn it off, it looks like garbage for close up shots. I have to use a different app to avoid it.

8MP is not great by today's standards and I suspect this is optimized for page scanning rather than photography.   For that price, I would not expect much, TBH.

To take a shot or more and think it would be good enough , only to after uploading to the computer , cropping , and adjusting the results are this .



My want is to see what it really is on the computer before I go to the next shot Ed . I am not going to spend 1/2K> for a DSLR . I am seeing some other options on the web that I will look into , but none have an adjustable arm that holds the camera . Going to now for a higher than 8MP . I don't need the live motion and sound feature . You would think jewelry manufacturers would want the same thing we want . Thanks all .

My phone is from 2019 and takes great photos. My older phone before that did as well.

Yeah, I mean this is from an iPhone 13 with no really extra lighting or photo manipulation.

Thanks , starting to lean with this MOKOSE 12MP . Now I just need a adjuatable and gimbeled stand for N scale needs .

I bought this stand from Amazon jusmo MT-88 Camera Desk Mount Stand Overhead Camera Mount, Horizontal & Vertical Shooting 2 in 1, Aluminum 4-Sections Light Stand for DSLR Camera, Phone, Light, Max Load 13.23Ibs, Up to 57inchs  . Now I am going to buy that 12MP camera . Thanks for the help .
