My girlfriend made these houses. A project for the new year is to build the barn at her grandmother’s ranch.

Ok Question for the pros, I’m working on rolling stock,  structures and other sundries  for my Winter themed HOn3 mini layout, described above and I maybe getting into a fit of layout construction here later and I wanted to start a new thread about it. I want to keep most of the mini layout related postings to one thread, as I will be working on some other narrow gauge related stuff. So, the question is would you rather read about this layout in the Narrow Gauge section or the Layout Engineering section?

I kinda like keeping the Narrow Gauge stuff here, but I'm not sure what may or may not be appropriate.

I've considered starting a new thread here on the OC&RG just to update where I'm at on my own build, but wasn't sure if it would belong here as an engineering report.

I always go to the Narrow Gauge section of TRW but won't always look at the most recent Engineering Reports.  I suppose the reverse is true of non narrow gaugers.  More eyes will likely see your stuff if you post it on the Engineering Reports thread, if that matters to you.

@dcarrell8 thanks for the feedback. I kinda feel the same about keeping the NG stuff in here as well, most of it will be very narrow gauge oriented. But it will also generally be a build log. Idk.

I'm in no way the model to follow by any means... but what I did was have a general layout build thread in the Layout Engineering Report forum and then if I have a specific narrow gauge project that might be of broader interest, I'll share it here.
