Esu Lok Sound Function Setting

I'm installing the ESU Lok Sound 58741 decoder in a N scale Kato EMD SD70ACe and added a LED to the Aux 2 connection on the decoder for the rear light since the on-board LED is blocked by the speaker.  I loaded sound file SO776. I'm not sure if I'm having a problem with the decoder, sound file or if I having problems with changing function settings.  Could someone please verify what additional function settings need to be made to make Aux2 work as the rear led so I can compare with what I've tried?

But you didn't exactly say what you did to configure the AUX2 as rear headlight. I assume that you have the LokProgrammer.

What I would do is under Physical Outputs section in Rear Ligth[1] I would disable it in the Output Mode pull-down.
Then in AUX2 I would assign Dimmable Headlight in the Output Mode
For clarity you can also type in "Rear Headlight" into AUX2 Name field.

Then go to the Function Mapping section and  for the "Reverse, F0" Condition modify the "Physical Outputs" field. Uncheck "Rear Headlight [1]" and check "AUX2".

Write decoder data and the AUX2 should now be rear headlight.  If it is not working then you likely did not wire it correctly, or you have a bad component.
