Mountian Subdivision Hobbies
« on: December 17, 2022, 06:52:57 PM »
In this day and age of hobbie retailers that provide minimal or no customer service anywhere from not responding to wheres my order emails to ghosting you if you receive a defective product and trying to return it,i wanna give a five star thumbs up to Mountian Subdivision Hobbies for excellant service on my order i just made. On the 15th Dec i ordered a Loksound Nano 58923 and a ESU 50321  11X 15 speaker to instal in a Bachmann F7.MSH dosent keep a inventory on hand count on the product pages but i was able to put the decoder and speaker in the shopping cart and make the purchase. The next day i received a email from Bryan at MSH explaining the the Nano was not in stock and ESU has not provided a ETA on when they will ship the Nano's.He did provide me with the option to cancle or wait for the shipment to come in or have a Loksound Micro 58823 shiped which they did have in stock.  After a quick mesurment of the F7 i found the Micro will fit so i opted for the Micro to be sent.Today i got the tracking # for the order and will receice it by the 20th. The promptness of how MSH responded when there was going to be a problem shipping my order has moved them to my #1 choice for decoders and other merchandise they carry.
On the other side of the customer service coin there is a shop i wont name at this time that has left me in the dark concerning an order i placed the 9th of Nov for a loksound nano that was listed as ad to cart and after 10 days with no order updates i called and was told that it would be looked into and called back with an update, but no return call was made so i called two more times and still got no info on my order. So i went to the web page where the decoder is listed and it is now posted as a preorder,so obviously they are haveing the same supply issue with ESU as other retailers. My point is that if they would have at least sent me a email stateing the issue of not haveing stock of the Nano's and offered me choices to cancle, wait or get a differant decoder would go a long way in keeping me a happy customer.Im not gonna ditch them completely because they do have low prices and the shipping charges are about half or better the most other places. So thanks for those that read my first world supply issue rant and give Mountain Subdivision a chance the next time you need  decoders or other train related stuff,,,,,,,,,,,,,,And a big ole Merry Christmas to all 🎅🌲🚂🚂
