If you take a picture of the boxcar, then zoom in on the picture, you can clearly see everyone face in the print on the boxcar. Mine blown, simply amazing.

Lee, can you take it again?  But this time do an exposure compensation of -0.7 to -1.0 f-stop if your camera has that setting.  This will purposely under expose the surrounding and accentuate the lighting.  I was planning to do that at the show.  I think there are 1-2 pictures like that in my collection.  You can see a more dramatic effect.

Yes, mind blown!  At the resolution that MT can print that and the resolution my camera (Nikon D500) can pick up.

I believe they did that with ink jet printing.  I'm going to do a WAG and say it's probably the same printer they use to print their graffiti cars.  I just send them my full size/resolution JPEG file and they did the rest.  Like you said, simply amazing!

@MK um... I packed it all up.  I have it out on my kitchen table at the moment, but I was planning on dissecting the bridge module to start putting lights into it.

Plus, all I have is my phone for taking pictures... I'm not sure how to adjust all the settings.
Perhaps a little photoshop will do the trick?

Lee, I guess we'll try it again next year.    You can do it with Photoshop by selective darkening areas other than the lighted window areas.  But it's so much easier and quicker to do with exposure compensation as camera sensors react slightly different to pin point light sources.

If you are using a phone camera, you may or may not have exposure compensation depending on your make and model and vintage.

Carry on until Altoona 2023 then.
