I will add:

7) Gain experience with smaller projects. Going straight to attempting things like body shells is a recipe for repeated failure.

Unfortunately the only projects I am interested in doing are bodyshells. I do have experience with printing a set of cars as seen here

Those look pretty good .. were they printed on the same printer you are using to do this latest shell?

They were printed a little over a year ago. Certain shells like that locomotive appear to be a lot more difficult to print
