While eating lunch today with @Ed Kapuscinski and discussing the future design of my 3.0 layout, I was going thru some photos of cars I've caught thru here.  This was one I caught a while back at Dal-Tile outside of Gettysburg, PA.  He looked and said " You gotta send that to MTL, they've already done the Erie Western cars "

And while I'm at it, here's another I just found that came thru recently, looks close to the Chessie covered hoppers that MTL has done.  Might need a tetanus shot for this one though

What da ya say @MTLJoe ?  I did send you the first one in an email, just now came on the second one while posting this message :D

I need to edit the video I took this week so hopefully I can post next time.  For now, here's one I don't think I posted yet.

Try and watch with the HD setting. Shot with my new Nikon Z50.

A chance visit to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park north of Akron on Saturday yielded the morning passenger train passing Indigo Lake.

How are you liking the Z50?  I'm looking for a mirrorless to supplement my D500.  Starting to get too big and heavy for small trips.

I really like it, especially for the size.  With the stock 16-50mm pancake lens, it's the perfect size to carry anywhere.  And with the FTZ adaptor, I can use my AF-S lenses which work great wit the Z50 DX sensor.

This topic should get the "hand laid track" treatment.

Lol. Fair.

But I do think that it's a valid option for someone who wants a portable camera for traveling. I don't lug my SLR around for anything other than specialty uses anymore.

Don't know crap about phone cameras or phones or cameras, but I just watched a video about the camera on Pixel phones and they said it was hard to recommend the Pixel because Google doesn't support anything for the camera.

Of course I hate Pixel because they ruined Picasa.

If you have a Samsung phone there is a new app called Galaxy Enhance-X that uses AI to fix your photos. It can sort of re-focus the background and do other whoopy-doo things.
