New Central Jersey Modular Group Open House

An opportunity to create a new modular group has become available that would allow members to meet, work, store and display modules in return for some time donated to a public model train display and not have rent overhead for the group.

An event has been scheduled for those interested in the modular group for April 24 from 1-5 at Northlandz train museum.
Free admission, one per household, confirmation required.

I would since I really want to get into making actual FreeMon modules in the near future, I just.. don't like the way Northlandz as an organization conducts itself.

There was a solid couple months here in NJ where every billboard had a bold ad for Northlandz. Prominently featuring a Gresley A3 from Mouldy Rasberry's layout with "Northlandz" poorly edited onto the Boiler.

I agree. Certainly has potential to benefit both the display and a modeling group.
I would really like to see the mutual benefit come to fruition.
Could offer more exposure to new modelers and perhaps some old modelers returning.

I made the presidents of JCNTrak and HighPoint NTrak aware. May help since both expressed interest in branching off into T Trak and FreeMoN.
