I just ordered a Phrozen Sonic Mini 4K because it has a higher resolution than anything else.

Thats funny, after I started down the rabbit trail of better resolution and faster cure times I saw that machine and it looks like it might be a great alternative. I’d love to hear your experiences with it @Chris333 . I started an impressions thread.

@GaryHinshaw looks like this is the preferred NEW Siraya Tech grey resin for highly detailed models. https://www.amazon.com/ABS-Like-Curing-Non-Brittle-Printing-Resin/dp/B07VBM4Z7Q/

Nice.  That's what I ordered yesterday, along with the Blu.   Not due to arrive until the end of the month, but I'll be sure to report my experience with it when it gets here.  Meanwhile, I have an order for Elegoo grey coming on Tuesday.

@GaryHinshaw ...

Did you have a chance to try out the Siraya Blu ABS-like resin yet? I have a project going at the moment that doesn't do well with the brittleness of the AnyCubic and Elegoo standard resins. I went ahead and ordered a litre of the Siraya anyway, but I'd sort of like to know what to expect.

There is a mix of Siryaya Fast and Siraya Tenacios, that provides literal flex to the Fast based on prcentage. More tenacious, more flex.

I have not tried a sample mix yet. I have a second vat on the way...

@Lemosteam how well does that resin take paint?

Now that I have not tried as yet, but I have a sample I can spray and report back.

Here is Hon30 track printed with the Sirya Blu and Elegoo grey (code 40 rail).

@timwatson that looks amazing!   How do you get the wood grain?

Thanks @ednadolski I made it in tinkercad with a wood grain pattern. This is from the Photon. I’m anxious to get the SM4k printing well enough to get a better version. It’s funny that code 40 rail looks big.

Sorry, spring term is in high gear and I'm way behind in my correspondence... Yes I did get it and tried a few prints with it, but in the end, I couldn't get very crisp results, so I shelved (for now).  I tried using the settings that gave the best R_E_R_F results, but they were never as good as I was getting with the basic Anycubic resin using the default Photon settings.

On the topic of brittleness, I have been having good results with my small parts using a very light cure in water.  For a part as small as a rail joiner, try putting the part in a jar of water and curing for no more than a minute.  I've been really happy with the spine parts I've been printing that way.

Super. I'll try the water cure technique.

Sorry to hear about the Siraya resin now that it's on its way. If it's a viscosity thing I might try diluting it a little and see what happens.
