What alternatives exist for passenger core kits?

What am I, chopped liver?  LOL! 

Actually it would be quite simple to design a sliding core and roof cut to length to accommodate various car lengths.  A slot inside for a brass strip stock weight covered by seats.

I happen to be a big fan of chopped liver.  Never understood the expression.

I would love it if I could buy a  passenger core kit with easily adjustable length (cutting to make it shorter is OK, cutting to make it longer not so much),  user-place-able underbody and roof details (especially roof vents).    Bonus points if one can have panel-lined smooth roofs, rivet roofs (ACF style), and multiple truck mounting styles (really only two - screw mount and Kato snap-on).

A Budd core kit would be nice too - it needs to be a separate kit from a Pullman / ACF kit, because the sides are little shorter I think.
