Can't Read ESU 73100 Board with LokProgrammer

This is a new one. I recently installed a 73100 board in an Atlas SD50 and successfully uploaded sound file 73850 in it. It runs and sounds fine but, when I return the loco to the LokProgrammer programming track and click on "modify settings of an ESU decoder" I get an error message that says "Decoder version 4.17. 9249 is not supported. Please check for software updates". I've hit "update decoder firmware" and still get the error message (updating deletes the sound file, BTW). I've looked for new versions of the LP software but it says mine is the latest version (4.7.0). I have not installed any chokes or keep-alives in with the decoder. I also have several other 73100's installed in various locos and do not get this error message. Ideas?

....but LP5 reads it fine. Just tried that. Didn't think to before as I always work on my pre V5 decoders on LP4. Still not sure why it's the only one having the problem.

It might have gotten loaded by LP5?    I've stopped using the LP 4 software,   things are very stable  and works fine for the Selects and V4s

Hmmm....guess that's possible, though I'm pretty sure I did it thru LP4.

"Decoder version 4.17. 9249 is not supported. Please check for software updates".

I've looked for new versions of the LP software but it says mine is the latest version (4.7.0).

If you're really using V4.7.0 as your LokSound V4 programmer then you probably did use your LokProgrammer V5 in this case.  The release notes in the LokProgrammer V4.7.0 zip file say that firmware 4.16.9248 is new to that version which is lower than the version it's seeing on the decoder.

Version 4.17.9249 doesn't come until V4.7.2 of the LokProgrammer software which was the last V4 release.  None of the V5 releases mention any 4.x firmware so I assume that's the terminal release.
