They also sell an HO version: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3pcs-HO-Scale-53ft-Low-side-Gondola-Car-1-87-Railway-Wagons-Model-Train/224026185186?hash=item3429004de2:g:XEoAAOSwRSpez3Eu

Looks almost identical, but on the Bmann model, the "ribs" taper off toward the bottom but ion the Eve they appear to extend straight to the bottom of the side.

Another complication is that the Bachmann model when announced was described as a ACF 50'6" Drop-End Gondola.

Which they may think it is, but the BLMA/Tangent N/HO models are true representations of the prototype and there are differences between those and the Bachmann/Evermodel models.

If all else fails, the blue could be used for Milwaukee Racine & Troy or Virginian & Ohio, the red for Allegheny Midland...

This gets interesting, if you google evemodel you eventually get https://www.eve-modeler.com/ but no nscale gons. They have HO scale high side ones but no n scale. But they seem to do a lot of other stuff which looks quite tempting. I'd bet it's all chinese - there's no contact info and the website is based on shopify.

I asked them on Ebay if these are 1:160 or 1:150 (listings say 1:160 but photo says 1:150 ).

I got a response today:

Hello,it is for N scale.It can be 1:160.
Best wishes

Take that with a grain of salt.  :D

Well, even American and German model RR manufacturers have their models made in China, so it is "all Chinese" everywhere.   :D  I do realize what you were saying - just having some fun here.

A friend of mine (who is an HO modeller) bought one of their HO flat cars and, upon inspecting it, thought it had very similar construction to a Bachmann car. After looking at it an pictures online, it was basically clone of the Bachmann flatcar, right down to the roadnumber! Only differences seemed to be different colors of plastic on some parts (the deck, I think). Was not a horrible car, but not worth what he paid for it considering it was just a Bachmann car (no identifying marks on the car at all, though).

Good ol' freely sharing of intellectual property in China.
