Not at all.  Still, whatever we call it, I found it puzzling when I first saw it used, and I'm sure other non-native Englis speakers (or Americans who do not live in that part of the country) also might not have understood what that meant.

Well, call Delmarva whatever you will, e.g., toponym, acronym, etc., but I just call it home.  :)

We also have MTS and MBK. Both refer to the same thing: the online hobby shop ModelTrainStuff.com, aka M.B, Klein.

I just realized that JFRTM is awfully similar to my other favorite acronym, RTFM.  Which means: "Read the Manual."

I thought those were the things I mis-typed while trying to type the acronyms, abbreviations, etc. etc.
