I have four of the BLI T1s and they are all the same when it comes to running noise. At around 18 of 28 speed steps they all tend to get noisy. Sound like gear noise to me. Anyone else notice this ? I have a bunch of BLI M1 and they all are very quite. I was thinking the T1s would be the same but they are not.
So do we have any solutions other then turning up the chuffing volume more ? Thing that's disappointing to me is that they were high speed engines and running at a scale 80 mph they are too loud. What to do what to do.
I also just converted one of them to a S1 using the 3D printed shell. I managed to use fiberoptics line to run the lights including the engine marker lights. The tender may be a bit more difficult.
