Challenge #5 - Retro Fleet Photo Diorama

I have quite a few old school N scale structures, pre-assembled, brightly colored, not quite to scale buildings that may or may not make it into the final scenery of the Retro Layout, so I'm thinking I'll use them as background noise for a Retro Fleet photo bed on which I can shoot my period rolling stock in a period setting...

Probably need something about 24" long and maybe a foot wide, with c80 hi rail track, some lichen bushes, and who knows... some sawdust grass.  We'll see how this goes.

I've had 5 or six of them over the years.  I believe I have three in stock at the moment in varying stages of decay...

Wow a double-slip of what looks like 7.25" radius!   :D  Roco? Minitrix?

My RSDs are writhing with agony at that image.

Pretty sure it's a Minitrix.  But nothing says "Retro" n scale like tight curves, tall rails and a terminal track!

I laid it out on a painter's canvas (it was handy) but I have some scraps of plywood out in the garage that will ultimately become the base.  I have another 30 degree crossover or two, as well, so I'm toying with building a double TTrak module with a retro theme...  I'll have to tune up that old double slip to make sure it doesn't get me booted out of the club, though!

Pretty sure it's a Minitrix.
A seller on eBay has a Minitrix double-slip switch listed with a 'buy it now' price of $55.

And at that price, he probably had it a year ago, and will still have it a year from now.
No one will be mistaking that for a Shinohara or even a Kato switch which might be worth that much.
