Really nice job, Craig, and I agree - I was scared of really starting scenery, but the materials are so good and there are so many helpful videos that it is not bad at all.  Perhaps the hardest part for me was just accumulating all of the stuff (scenery materials, tools) to that when I set out to do something, I can actually make progress without having to stop due to the absence of a key tool, part or scenery material.  Your module is looking great!

Thank you. Yes, I made many trips to Michaels and such. 40% off one item at a time. Haha.

Thank you.

Me and my little guy got into the tree foliage today. Thanks to @Scottl for the suggestion to use shredded floral moss. I’m pleased with the results.

Those look quite nice!  What are you using for armatures?

This module is really looking excellent.  The water is superb!  I like the bear sneaking out of the woods as well- very BCR.

Thanks. I made some from Cat5 that I stripped but that was a huge pain. The rest were made from floral wire. I’m sort of following the tutorial here:

Thanks everyone! The bear was my sons idea. He doesn’t have a long attention span (he made it though flocking four trees before asking me to find him when it was time to put the bear in).

I never pass up an opportunity to get him involved. He’s the only one of the three who still want to play trains.

Craig.

I’ve used it, but then they grow up, go to college, move away (and even create grandchildren).

Craig.

Count your blessings!  I did the same and mine gave up during middle school.  :(
