PRR Lowey K4 3768

The K4 3768 Lowey designed was in green but i'm seeing some prints with her in tuscan too. Anyone know if that's true ? I tend to think it's not and the streamline K4s were in green only.

It wasn't tuscan so much as a bronze kind of color. I think it was repainted super very early in its life. I know John knows more about it than I do. He likely knows the prints you are referring to.

It seems that the original spec was for a bronze color, but by the ‘39 worlds fair at the latest she was DGLE.

This link agrees with everything I learned while designing my kit (which is now discontinued) with respect to color, and the striping.
