My dad will be there with the newly refurbished Strasburg module.

I'm thinking about coming up but the odds aren't great.

I plan on showing up on Saturday morning.
The fabric of reality has begun to fray.

Is this worth going to?  I live really close - I went to Altoona this year, and will do this next year as well.  So, if I go to Altoona, is this one worth showing up to as well?

Never been to the Altoona one, can't compare personally.  Been to the curve and downtown but not the show. Was on Vac when it happen last year.

Change of plans: I'm planning on swinging by for the day.

I guess I better get those name tag generator working!

Family event means I'll be there Sunday unless you who attend give it bad reviews on this thread.

Ok, got back after an hour of looking around. Pretty much the same thing as always.  Guess it's me and my low tolerance for screaming kids and too many people bumping into me.  Wasn't happy with the prices either but I do enjoy checking out the layouts, especially the Reading HO layout.   I'd say go if you want to go. Guess i been to so many that i get board fast and i'm out the door in an hour.  The hour long bike ride up and back was more fun for me especially on a day like today, warm in Jan.

Thanks guys.  Even though it's maybe 7 miles to the venue, talked to a parishioner this AM who went and felt it was only worth going if one had a buddy to hang out with.  He too enjoyed the RDG Tech group layout.  So I passed.

Expected there would be lots of younguns.  Kids are rammy two weeks after Christmas and parents looking to give them an outlet for their energy, so it's pack up the kids and go to the show so they can look at trains which might occupy their interest for an hour.  Depends also what's in the next door hall. Pet show and a sportsman show this time. Always draw a big crowd there with that combo.
