It must of startled the good people of Thurmont to see that Big Boy roll through with all that UP varnish!

That was my first thought too.  Slap some WM or MMID with a string of cement hoppers, a couple of boxcars and a centerbeam to tie off the end and you got it licked.

We also ran Maryland Midland GP38 with appropriate cars, but they were not captured on video.

During a regular Fremo operation meeting we run only trains that fit a specific time-frame.
But this video was filmed at an “open house”, so there was more variety.

I had not looked at the Challenge section on Railwire for a long time, so I missed your posts.

You have build an excellent model of Sabillasville Curve. The bridge is an eye-catcher!!
Well done!!

I had build a version of the same curve, following Fremo standards over here in Germany. I think I had posted this YouTube Link before, but if not:

I've seen your video before, you've really done it justice, beautiful work! The size of my modules is dictated by my storage space, so I had to compress the radius of the curve quite a bit from the prototype. My goal was to be able to recreate a few photos I have of trains on the bridge. Your modules capture a lot of the feel of standing in the center of the real curve!

@wm3798 did the WM's challengers ever work that far east?

Not from what I've seen.  They primarily worked Hagerstown West.
