Anycubic Resin Getting Cheaper

Anycubic sent me an email asking for a review of the gray resin I purchased on Amazon.  In return, they are going to send me a free bottle of resin.  When I went to look at the Amazon listing, I found the gray 500ml bottle is currently $19.99.  The 1 liter is $38.99.  I haven't seen it this low before.

What features brought you to that decision?

It seems thinner. So when the plate lifts up more of it runs off. Some details like holes come out much cleaner as well.

Some say it doesn't smell as bad either.

Thinner does seem to have an advantage for rendering details.  It makes sense.  Thanks.

Are cure times similar?

I have Elegoo white and AnyCubic gray and black. I also agree the AnyCubic gray is more viscous than the others, losing details and having more fill-ins. But I'm really happy with AnyCubic black - detail rendering is OMG-good - so it's not brand alone, it's brand and color. I may pick-up a half-liter of Elegoo gray just for the trying, but I'm about out of AnyCubic black since that has become my go-to and will order a full liter this time around.

I have had similar experience with Anycubic resin, black being thinner than gray and seemingly rendering better details.   I'm up for trying another brand, though.
