Is the frog live or dead (electrically of course)?

They were announced in the April/Spring 2019 issue of the Atlas monthly catalog:

Subscribe to the Atlas 'Insiders Mailing List' if you want to be notified when a new issue of the catalog becomes available.

hey John--in the larger photo there is a place to connect frog to electric power just like those on the code 55 TO's.
i would think unpowered unless electric power attached at that point, if the photo is accurate.

One would hope that the frog is made from nickel-silver, rather than some white (pot) metal, plated with copper, then plated again with shiny silver metal (with the plating wearing off in use and cleaning).   But I doubt these will be different.

The timing is good for me. I just had to dismantle my entire layout since we are moving soon. I will have a much larger area dedicated to trains to work with so I will repurpose the tables and and more but now I can utilize the #8 switches for my passenger trains and mainline turnouts.

I'm wondering if they'll rework the old #5 and #6 turnouts... Those of us working on our retro layouts might be well served by such beasties...

Lee, If it's "retro", aren't the locos supposed to stall on turnouts? ;)
