My second Lok Sound install

Sup all,
     I received 3 Lok Sound 73100 decoders as a gift this year.
So I chose a Milwaukee Road U23B as one of the lucky recipients.
     I used a Soberton 8mmx12mm speaker along with an enclosure by Keystone Details on shapeways.
     I am happy with the sound. There are no keep alives installed.

This sound thing can be very addictive. And very expensive..lol

Excellent sound.  Very addictive, now you need more in a consist with different engine files....then it get real bad.

Nice!  The Soberton 8x12 in John LeMerise's Shapeways enclosure is really an excellent combination.

Where did you put the speaker?  I assume on the rear of the chassis?

Edge, I “hear” ya,,,pun intended. I have IMRC deuces that have different sound files. I want to be able to hear the sound of each loco in a consist.
John C, Yup rear of the loco. I even milled out the frame to accept the enclosure.
John L, Your enclosures and the Soberton 8x12 are a match made in heaven,,,at least to me it is. I use the UV liquid plastic “Bondic” to seal and glue the speaker to the enclosure.
