NO, I reset everything and got them to program on the main...Don't think the program train had enough juice for the sound decoders....Using a NCE system....Jim
Ok, thanks Jim. How how exactly did you get it to "reset everything"? Most decoders are reset by programing some value (usually "8") into CV8. If the decoder couldn't be programmed on programming track, did you write to CV8 on the main? Or what reset procedure did you use?
Then while changing from 2-digit to 4-digit address on the main is a pain, because you have to figure out what values to write into the two 4-digit address CVs, then write the 4-digit address bit (still using 2-digit address) into CV29.
