Detail Parts for a 1:29 GP38-2

So I was wondering if any of you that had a 3d printer could help me out on a couple of things.
There are a few things I want to correct on my USA Trains GP38-2 but have no way of doing it myself...
One thing that came up are the trucks, on my prototype KCS 1906 (though I may renumber due to the wrong nose logo) the model comes with Blomberg B trucks, 2 brake cylinders per side and I want to try to get them to be M type trucks and that means removing one brake cylinder and adding shock absorbers in lieu of it. like this picture:


There is something else I need but I seem to have forgotten for the time being... one track mind as it were...

I don't think 3D printing is what you want for this.  Just grab a few styrene tubes and go old school.

Nope I definitely do, other wise I wouldn't have asked... I don't posses the skills for what appears to be a simple task, and I also don't have any stores within a 100 mile radius that offers styrene in any shape or form besides maybe giant posters...

I bet you do.  And it doesn't have to be styrene.  An old pen tube, coffee straw, some solid wire or metal rod would work.  The mounting plates could even be cardboard.  It might look ugly at first, but once you hit it with paint you'll think it was factory.

I don't suggest going old school to discourage you from finding a 3D printer if that's what you really want to do.  If that's the case, do you have the 3D model and just need someone to print it?  Do you have the dimensions and need someone to create the 3D model then print it?  Or do you need someone to research the dimensions, create the 3D file, then print it? 
Depending on those questions, you're looking at about a 25-85 dollar project. 

If you just want someone to make you the part, no matter what method, I can scratch one for you for about $15 if you can pull a few key dimensions.

For the shocks, you can check into 1/35 scale armor parts -- or -- 1/25 scale truck parts - or -- possibly RC car/truck parts.

The brackets should be easy enough to scratch build.

Trust me this has been an ongoing project only reason I'd like them 3d printed is because I am mentally drained from searching for things that are close only to come up short.
That and I can only mount them to the side frame as the bearing journal on the locomotive is sprung and actually moves.

As for dimensions, again aside from contacting EMD or Dofasco I can't find anything. Not even blueprints.
It doesn't have to be exact just close is all I want... Will most likely fall off anyhow due to the scales nature...

Just measure from the existing 1:29 scale truck.

If you can get either the length of the red line or the diameter of the green circle, and the depth from the face of the green circle to the blue face of the truck frame, I'll see what I can do for ya.

Well I'm not sure if this helps or works for ya but on the SD70 MAC side frames there is a shock absorber listed in their parts list for it. Now it says it's part # 48 on the diagram but I cannot see a number for it there.
