PC patch out NYC box

I am modeling 1976 and picked up this NYC box as part of a lot. Didn’t strip it but decided to try my luck patching it out. What decal set could supply a P and a C for this? [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

Oooo. You'll need a PC set. The typeface is unique among railroad fonts, Eurostile Extended Bold Oblique.

Here's Microscale's: http://www.microscale.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=60-1286

That looks like a nice set. Includes some ACI tags and lube panels. Lots of possibilities there. Now that I think of it I have a couple PRR cars that can get the smae treatment. Thanks Mike!

So you've got the decals? Or is that a photoshop?

Ed, I went and got the decals. I figure I will do a couple more cars in time as patch outs and maybe a couple straight up PC cars. For my railroad, which is the Southern Railway from Birmingham to Tuscumbia, Al in 1975, most off road traffic will be from railroads west. But there will be some Eastern stuff and I have gotten to the point that I like decaling my own. So getting the whole set isn’t a waste.

Ok, cool. I had a sheet if you just needed some reporting marks.
