Anyone use Rapido's 33" metal wheels?

Exactrail ran out of their 100 packs of 33" wheels. I really liked these. Though they are not quite as nice as BLMA's, they were far cheaper and a suitable alternative to the missing FVM sets.

So, now I need to find yet another source of 33" MTL compatible wheels. These are the only ones available in bulk. Are they any good?

There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

Assuming they are the same wheels as those used on the mill gondolas and meat reefers, they are fine.

These would be the same wheels as those under my bulkhead flatcars, and they have been fine.

I just saw on Tangents website there new metal wheels. Though these are 36" wheels, they may offer 33" later on. Nice profile on these as well.

They've been reprofiled since then for more reliable operation.

If you have our baggage cars, they are the same profile as those but 33" instead of 36".

Nice looking .. but they show them as .537 axles ... MTs are .540

0.003" is within the tolerance that I have measured on countless FVM wheelsets (for designing trucks).

I bought 2 12 packs for testing, and I've been reasonably happy with them. I don't like how wide they are, and rank them behind FVM and BLMA in that regard. All 24 axles were in gauge and run through my trackwork without issue - I scattered the cars through the layout and over 3 op sessions they've been pushed, pulled, kicked and shoved with a lot of forces in all directions. I put looks pretty high on my scale, but if it weren't for that I would probably be happy with an entire fleet equipped with them.
