Thank you everybody for your input! And thank you Peteski for the gushing! I was glad to see the structure has versatility and appeal.
The winning category was textiles. Maybe I'll advertise it as such? No one guessed the actual purpose, which is a cupola for a copper smelter.
Quincy Smelting Works is located in the upper peninsula of Michigan and has been preserved by the state. The corrugated structure was the first boiler house, the reinforced concrete was the second. I will be including a 125' smoke stack with the kit. There was no loading dock since the cupola was serviced by a 2' gauge tramway that ran throughout the complex. However, I will make the kit so the stand alone version will have a loading dock and door on the wall where the back half attaches. The rest of the structure includes an engine room and pump house.
