I've been working on a Bergen National Laser kit for the last few weeks; hoping to finish it in time to take to the ELHS annual meeting, which is less than 7 weeks away now. Since the company recently announced they are back  producing kits again, I thought I'd post a couple of in-progress photos.

This kit is a model of the Lackawanna station in Binghamton NY, which is where this years' meeting will be. So far I'd rate the kit a 9 out of 10    and my assembly of it to date about a 4 out of 10.     But I am pushing forward with it...








The detail in the kit is incredible.  Here's a shot of the engraving:

Looks a bit involved, to say the least! But impressive, non the less. Look forward to seeing the finished product.

After seeing @GaryHinshaw putting together his Showcase Minatures Signals, I figured it was time to pull out my kits and build. Great kits, incredible detail, but near the threshold of sanity. (I’d seriously rather do locomotive wire hand rails)

The camera angle makes it look a little distorted, but it came it all aligned. (And working thank goodness)

Drywall on layout room ceiling this weekend. I've got electrical guys coming this week to install LED lighting in the room, but I'm not quite ready yet...
