DCC to DC on

I agree, I actually went through with the recommendation and placed the order with Lombard yesterday. I should have worded it differently, I meant I have no problem waiting a little extra time for the order to ship. That being said, the banner on their home page said while the store is closed they are continuing to ship orders, and to my surprise I received an email this morning with a tracking number saying that my order has shipped, so I guess they have resumed some level of shipping while being physically closed to the public. So that was good news! Thanks again for the responses.

 I think you made the right decision. As Pete basically said, all decoders so not act the same on DC. Being you don't have DCC yet, the ones you're getting will play together well on DC. Then at a later date, you decide go DCC, these loco's convert to DCC fairly easy.

Speaking of analog DC locomotives, what walk around throttles are currently available that would work with n-scale? I’ve done some searches, but have only found the MRC power pack with the optional hand held throttle.

I’ve got a couple from GML. I bought them on EBay, 2 throttles and a bunch of mounting plates and cords from someone converting to DCC. It was very cheap and I’ve got extra parts and a extra throttle unit. Mine are very basic, you can add options if you buy new.
