No, I like Thomas, especially the Ringo days but there's nothing wrong with presenting the other end of the spectrum. And if that means not wanting to run a Thomas train on your layout, that's okay, it's not hurting the hobby in any way.Jason
But if it is modular club's layout in a public setting (where non-model-railroaders are in attendance with kids), I think that what is running on the layout should not be questioned.
Perhaps he could have just talked to someone else in the club then.Personally I think it's a bit audacious to bring something to a show without a prior invitation and expect to be able to run. You can ask, and if the answer is no, you should be okay with that regardless of the reasoning.Jason
