I have been to Rick's home and saw this awesome layout. I have video of some of the animated parts including his incredible fireworks. If anyone is interested in seeing them I'll try to figure out how to convert and post them.

Yep I have also had the pleasure of viewing Rick and Linda's Layout many years ago.
Some mates and I were attending some N Scale conventions in the the USA from down under and in fact both Rick and Linda have visited my layout here following their attendance at one of our Melbourne N Scale conventions back in 2003. Lovely folk.

Rick and Linda usually have an open house in early November as part of the SE PA-S NJ-DE event that month. Very gracious hosts, plus the layout is well done and his special effects are mind-boggling. Worth making the drive to the Trenton area to take it in. And one never knows what hobby/TRW celebrity will be there. My last visit a few years back, DKS was in the house.

I met Rick and Linda during the November open house when they stopped by to see my CSX Hanover Sub.  I was not aware of who they were until Rick started showing me pictures from their layout.  I said hey, I know you guys !  I have a couple of print outs of different parts of the layout when I was trying to design a layout on my own.
