With Rail Graphics going out of business, other than Microscale, are there any other good decal makers available?

They are going out of business?

If you are looking for custom made decals, go to https://robdebie.home.xs4all.nl/models/decals.htm and scroll down to the list of Custom decal companies.

Whenever I mention that list I always give a shout-out for John Hagen.

Dan's Resin Casting makes custom decals and I believe a few here on the forum has used him for making theirs.  Hate to see Rail Graphics closing but they likely have earned their rest.  I wish them the best!!!

Yes, Dan's Resin Casting is listed on Rob's website as one of the custom decal producers.

Rail Graphics is closing? Darn, I have ordered all my custom decals from him. Good thing I got a couple hundred new sets last year.

Don't be so quick to count out Microscale.  I have used them for custom decals.  They were excellent folks to work with, and their prices were terrific.  The downside is that you do have to do a minimum run of 250 sheets, so if it's something you need for just one or two cars, it's not practical.  But if it's a decal you are going to need for a custom road on all your rolling stock and/or locomotives, it's a good option.

I do not count Microscale "out" but was just wondering about other sources for custom decals.  ;)

For those interested Rail Graphics has this posted on their website https://www.railgraphicsdecals.com

"Rail Graphics will cease operations on December 31, 2017. We will not accept orders AFTER December 1, 2017"

This is why I asked about other decal makers other than Micro-scale which I knew is a given.

Anyway, Thanks for the replies so far... I have been busy checking them out.

Bill Brillinger at pdc.ca does excellent work with custom decals.  Also does a lot of laser cutting as well.  Had him do some work in both fields for me.

Also, I have used Stan Cedarleaf at http://gold.mylargescale.com/stancedarleaf/webpagedecals/customdecalsx.html for custom decals.

ShellScale and CRM Products are two other companies that have decal lines out there and are adding items on regular basis.
