Bowser N5c question

OK so I went and bout a couple of these Bowser N5c cabeese ...First thing I removed the washers , looks much better . The problem with the cupola gaps is also an easy fix , a thin bead of JB Weld holds it in position nicely !  Now for my question ...I got 1 mineral brown car and one orange car w/black roof . Where were these cars run ? I've googled around but can't seem to find the answer ....Thanks ! Mike

Mineral brown was mostly WWII and pre-WWII.  The orange cars were the 60s.

Yes - the correct question is not where were these run, but when (time period).  That being said, some of the decal work on these cars does specify western region, eastern region, etc....

Ahh , so the orange car is a bit too new for my era ....Oh well rule #1 ! I was under the impression that the different colors were for the different regions. Different eras does make more sense.   Thanks for the info guys !

I think if you have a read of this link you will get the good oil on the focal orange cabing cars or any cabin car paint schemehttp://pennsyrr.com/index.php/maps/95-operations/non-revenue/111-steel-cabin-car-painting-lettering

Which is exactly the link I pointed him to...
