I think a CF7 would be something that could be utilized by Santa Fe and short line modelers.  I would probably find room for York Rail or LAJ.

I tend to think there are too many variations in the CF7.

I would be thrilled for a 2-6-6-6 detailed for Virginian.

An EL-C (E-33) would be nice.  It could be offered in several different roadnames, and it could probably share the same mech as an E-44.

A U28B or U30B would fill a massive void when is comes to GEs.

@ Carter,
Those of us doing modern in Z scale could use that 5161 by the unit train full. :D Actually I could also use some more in N scale, just not from another company.

Johnathan,

While I do have enough of the InterMountain Trinity 5161 cu-ft covered hoppers for a unit grain train, it is very rare when a unit grain train consists of covered hoppers from only one prototype manufacturer.

This seems to only happen (at least in southern Idaho) when the covered hoppers are relatively new.  What I mostly see are unit grain trains that consist of Trinity 5161 cu-ft covered hoppers with a variety of reporting marks, the NSC 5127 cu-ft covered hoppers with UP and CMO reporting marks, plus some UP Trinity and PS 4750 cu-ft covered hoppers as well as a few ACF Centerflows.

When the video showed the train, and it seemed to zero in on the Trinity 5161 cu-ft covered hoppers, I became really concerned that ScaleTrains may be thinking about tooling those in N scale.  We already have the ExactRail Trinity 5161 cu-ft covered hopper molds going unused.   :(

Id really really like some prototype Santa fe steam! How about a damned Santa Fe 3800 class 2-10-2? That hasn't been made ever in n scale!
Lord knows that's not what they will bring out though.

I highly doubt it will be a steam locomotive (especially since there were no H0 steam models announced, right?).

I know pete. This is my "i want a k4" whine I'm going to put in every possible coming model thread. Also I'll say how much better one would have sold than what was actually produced.

Hey I would support that SF 2-10-2 want as the New Haven had them as well. I would be in for at least two. I feel sure There would be other road name possibilities as well.

U50C. I may have planted the seed at the St. Louis RPM, suggesting that they already have the mechanisms and trucks with the turbines, so take the next logical step.

Hope so.

When the N scale turbine was announced, I told them they should, at least, make the trucks available for a 3D printed U50C.

To be viable for the long term, they probably need to release a model that is mainstream and appeals to a high percentage of modelers.  I would love to see Baldwin 6-axle road switchers, but there's not many others that share that desire.  The turbine was a great eye-opener, and only one of my N scale friends had any interest, but he already has his brass version (and dedicated mechanic to keep it running).

I am guessing they want to do both the GE and Progress Rail Tier-4 units.

So they announced that they will be making an announcement.  ;)

Based on the HO offerings, I expect to see something interesting in N.  :D

I didn't even finish watching the video. Most new stuff now is just old stuff with circuit boards added to jack up the price.

With Shane, Mike and Paul, even if they only got 2 out announcements, you can bet they would be quality products. I have my wish lists but it doesn't really matter. It's just fun watching friends succeed.
