In between new revisions of the coupler box, I've been drawing an NP 52' flat car. I'd been planning to make a CB&Q 60' car (and still do), but this months Craftsman has a drawing for the similar 52' version so I thought I'd use it as a run through for the 60' one.The drawing is basically finished except for the coupler pocket which I'm going to try and integrate the True-scale coupler box if I ever get that finalized. In the meantime I need to find a laser cutter to do the floor, and figure out the best approach to adding some weight.Hopefully soon, we'll get a quality 3D printing option, and new fright cars could be a monthly thing.Jason

I don't get it.

@craigolio1 I dug this out and snapped a quick photo for you. I wasn't trying to match the particular phase or look of the Crown Z unit but it was the inspiration.I also finished this dumptruck over the weekend. It is a Showcase short nose GMC 9500 with a modified Trainworx dump body.
Wow awesome! Thanks for posting? What did you have to do to the mechanism to get the front that low? I always thought I would have to make the front truck a dummy and remove the gear towers/drive train. Craig
