Nope, hosed again.  I'm in Canada and can't use the US site.  Checking the same company and quantity on the Canadian Amazon site the price has gone up from about  $30 CDN to over $150 CDN!!!

Peteski- what does the VM&P stand for ?

Doug

Varnish Maker's & Painters (it is an oil paint thinner).   I can get it in quart and gallon sizes in my local hardware store. Ronsonol is the same stuff but much more expensive (since it is sold to a different audience and in much smaller containers.

I found a huge stash of bestine at Curry's art supply earlier this summer, at the Hamilton location: https://www.currys.com/locations.htm

Perhaps try a local art supply store in your area? Michaels is hit and miss I find, some stores have it, others dont, but none of them seem to even know what it is when you ask.
Because why not...
