There is no indication of how the colors are "managed". When there's a choice like this, there's usually a pop-up that lets you pick. This is too-experienced of a seller to not know that, or know how to do it. So my guess is it's a package of 10, 2 of each color.

Regardless, that's a great price for some really hard work (and lots of "loss") if I were to try this myself. :scared:

I took that listing to mean that the amounts and colors within the 10 are random.

"Die Farben können auch gemischt werden" clearly means that the colors can be mixed, i.e. selected at your will. How you come about and really do that, I cannot tell, but that's what it literally means. Can you add some kind of comment field, explaining which mix of colors you want?

Mostly for Pete, but I know there are dozens of you out there just itching to try your hand at soldering wires to flea specks:  :D

Mouser carries the Kingbright line. This announcement was dated 7/7, so it's unknown when they'll be ready for retail ordering. The 0201 LEDs we discussed in the NSE Convention thread are made by SunLED and carried by Digikey.

Hmmm . . . I went to Mouser and those LEDs aren't due 'til September!  Drats!
I also looked on the Digikey site and did not find any 0201 size LEDs stocked there.  Double drats!  Did I miss something in my search?

Here's a search link that worked for me:

http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en/optoelectronics/led-indication-discrete/524729?k=sunled&k=&pkeyword=sunled&pv46=38021&FV=fff40008%2Cfff801b9&mnonly=0&newproducts=0&ColumnSort=0&page=1&quantity=0&ptm=0&fid=0&pageSize=25

I got to this by searching from the home page for "sunled", selecting "discrete" from the results page under "optoelectronics", and then filtering from the size column for 0.35mm.

Thanks Mike!
Now I understand what happened:  I was filtering by package size 0201 (as it was available as a selection) where these LEDs use 2-SMD  as package size and metric 0.65mm L x 0.35mm W as size/dimensions.  Go figure...

FWIW, I stopped using the "standard" size specs like 0603 or 0402 with both Digikey and Mouser a while back. I discovered that the vendor data feeding their inventory system is increasingly nonstandard, and nobody is bothering to conform it. I refine the searches as much as I can with the unique known knowns (like "sunled"), and then scroll through sizes, which eventually yields what I want.

Recently I was looking for 0.050"-pitch header connectors. Same deal - I found them, finally, but oh what a scavenger hunt. :x
