July Timonium Show

Good Evening,

My youngest and I had the opportunity to check out the Timonium show at the last minute today, and I have to say that there were a few bargains/deals for the N Scale Wallet.  There was a table that was selling Atlas and Atlas/Kato drive locomotives for under $50.  It appeared that it was an estate sale from someone who had passed away (I forgot the name of the gentleman).  I was able to purchase an Atlas Jersey Central RS-1 for $25.  It was an Atlas 2005 release, and it ran very well on the test track as it did appear to come from a store inventory. If they're any Reading modelers out there, this particular table had a few Atlas Reading GP-7 units (the table is back by the refreshment area).  I was also able to pick up 2 B&O FGE "Solid Gold" RBL's from the most recent release that I missed out on.  This has been the first summer show that I have been to, and it is definitely a lot more relaxed than the February show.

Thanks,
Adam

Oh my, that table was dangerous.

I only dropped $100, but I could've done triple that.

I'm personally excited that I got a pair of Reading GP7s for $25/per.
I also got an old GP35 that's going to get patched for CR (freeing my other RDG one to stay clean).

Then there's that U28C. It's a Trix shell on a Kato mech, and I'm thinking it will also wear slanty CRs.

I actually went to the show specifically because I had heard of that table.

Wish I had known of this table.  Normally July shows are a bit dull.  Great buys there Ed.
