Here's a place to get all types of pantographs.
From what I can tell is their used on foreign engines.
But still plan to order several different types just to see how they will work.

The Japanese sellers in that section of eBay do sell a good variety of Kato pantographs, but unfortunately, like I said earlier, they are non-functional (unsprung and not equalized).  A good indication whether the pantograph is fully functional is the pickup shoe. If it is metal, there is a good chance it is a fully working unit and if it is plastic it is just for looks (no spring, no equalization).

Cool , a GN W-1 is what the UP used for the Coal Turbine 80 . So seeing a W-1 on UP territory , depending place and time would be correct , though it would be ferried .

That is simply stellar.  Paint is excellent and the model looks fabulous.

Color me impressed!

Thanks all for nice comments !

up1950's, great video.
Now that would be another fun build ---------------------  ;)

This will be another Shapeways project, already have the drive figured out on both units, since they are exact wheel arrangement.
