Is the "ignore user" function still active? I've searched for the topic, and I'm still at a loss for how to do it.

Look under your forum profile .. you can add buddies, or add ignore there

Got it:

Profile > Summary > Modify profile (hiding just south of the top ad) > Buddy/Ignore list
