I even have a set of the Marklin conversion couplers that I was going to use but never did.
If you want them you can have them for postage....
It's not very clear, but it looks like D-@ (just imagine @ as the coupler... :D )

Well, that certainly worked well.   The CR600 resin works just fine.   





I measured the passenger coupler with a micrometer and it is the same shank length as an 1128.   Those are on order, but I found one in the junkbox.

So I'm in business.   You guys gave me the coupler replacement and the idea to try the short box in resin.  Done.   +1 to everybody!
