Well, unless you are a rabid collector of N scale trucks, and you just have to have some previously-released specific combination and specific paint job.  :)  They you should expect to pay through your teeth.  :D

Or just pre-order one of each.   ;)

If you think these bull haulers were great sellers (how many bull hauler does one need?) , wait until you can buy the tractors by themselves or with a 53 foot trailer.  There will be no end for the demand for those.

I don't know. This was something that had not been done in RTR before in any form or size. That is part of what makes it attractive. I bought one and have no need for it other than it looks great. That said, I bought one, not ten. A plain jane every day semi and trailer combo is not as appealing to me. How many of those are the guys that do intermodal going eat up at $30 a pop? $25-40 is fine for a one or two item purchase, buying enough to fill an intermodal yard may be the breaking point.

I'm willing to bet the 53' reefer/dry van trailer releases outsell the Bull Hauler by something like 5 to 1 - due to the demand from intermodal modellers.

It would be interesting to hear Pat's comment on the response to the announcements so far.

I will definitely be buying something like 30-50 reefer/dry van trailers.  It will hurt, but in the best of ways. :)

Just ordered 1 bull hauler.  Thanks for the tip.

Just got mine in the mail :D. I got the silver cab with burgundy fender version as that was the only color scheme left along with the white and blue one. Wasn't my first choice but now I'm glad I got it. Striking! I was worried about too much silver with the chrome parts and the trailer, but the cab color is more of a copper color, which is darker than in the photos I saw, and contrast quite nicely. Another home run by TWX!

Mine showed up yesterday with a lose sleeper.  Had white cab/blue fenders.  It looks/feels like there are tabs as it somewhat snaps back in place but still is easily removed.  I put a couple dabs of CA on the tabs and it stays now.  It's going to be a shelf queen for someone who drives a similar truck for a living.  Otherwise, it is amazing the amount of detail in this model.  Crisp printing/paint, interior in the cab, metal mirrors.  Very excited for the UPS trucks to show up to pair with my DigCom UPS trailers.

Did you tilt the hood to look at the engine detail?  :D
I assume that they are like the movie trucks (most had engine details under the tilting hood).
