October MicroTrains releases are up

Here are October's releases.  Not affiliated with BLW, just posting their link for cars

http://www.blwnscale.com/mt-new.htm

Now, here's my question.  Reading the description for the CSX PS-2 car, it says it has blue lettering, which you can see from the photo.  When did CSX ever use blue lettering ?  I've always seen tan car with black lettering, or blue car with yellow/gold lettering.  I'm in between buying the car because it seems odd to have blue lettering.

Wait, when was the 3 Bay High Side Covered Hopper announced? I missed that. Is the roof walk etched?

Also, this might make a good challenge car, eh?

Maybe 5 years ago we were aware of the car.  Not sure the first release.  Roof walk is some sort of laser board unless it's changed.

You're right - I was thinking that was a low side but I got confused with the BLMA release.  IMHO, this is MT's best offering:

Its a fantasy scheme, lettering should be black.

Didn't the CSX lettering thing previously come up with another MTL hopper?

You guys should wait until you have those in hand, that could really be black.   :RUEffinKiddingMe:

Indeed, I've said this from the git-go.   Problem is, like just about everything else MTL does that I like, they release about 1 per year.

Awesome CN boxcar.  Might have to take a bite at that.  There are pictures showing that series on the rails in the last decade...

The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

The weathering on the blue side is not too bad either, and there is that lettering to give it away to the uninitiated
