The BLW web site indicates that there will be a factory ESU LokSound version available.
Interesting that more and more manufacturers are putting ESU LokSound decoders in. Atlas, Intermountain, Fox Valley (for the new run of the Hiawatha), and now Kato.
I'm just about finished converting my entire fleet of Walthers/LL Berks to ESU LokSound, after 10 years of running them with dual-decoder installs using a Lenz silver mini for motor control and a TSU-750 for sound. Still wish ESU had some of the features of the Tsunami (automatic steam hiss on stop; equalizer circuit; better chuff "bark" for superpower steam like the Berk), but the combination of ESU's motor control and regulating the chuffs to driver rotation using the BEMF circuits is a winner. And I think ESU may be working on a UP844-specific sound file, which makes this even more interesting.
